Barham at the CSC Chess Tournament!
Thursday 12th December 2013 – Barham Primary School at the Kensington Olympia Conference Centre for a Chess Tournament.
What a day! I’m absolutely exhausted but still beaming with excitement as we had an amazing day at the CSC Chess Tournament!
Some of the children will be writing a more detailed account of the day, however I’m just so pleased with all the students that took part that I had to share!
It was a great day, broken into chess shows, games against chess masters and the actual tournament against 23 other schools…..where………..
We won a gold and bronze medal!!!
Who won them? You’ll soon find out!
Well done to all the students that took part, they did a really good job and were great ambassadors for Barham. I’ll be adding another topic about Chess soon which I hope will inspire more of you to take up the game.

3I assembly
This Tuesday, 3I are putting on an assembly that celebrates their similarities and differences. Parents will be joining us to share in the children’s hard work. We are all very excited!

Miss Khatri’s School Council Blog!!
Hello!
Today Miss Hunter handed over the School Council to me to oversee! I’m very excited to work with all the students involved and can’t wait to get started!
As some of you know, I have a passion for the environment and being Eco-friendly. I will be signing Barham up to the Eco-Schools programme in the hope to win some awards.
